This website is operated by Marcus & Sergio, Ltd., doing business as Cielo Home Interior Design. Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Marcus & Sergio, Ltd. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
1. About This Site
This website serves two purposes: it presents the interior design studio of Cielo Home, and it offers a curated Collection of home goods, objects, candles, fragrance, furniture, and vintage and antique items for sale. Design services themselves are not sold or contracted through this website. All design engagements are governed by separate written agreements between Marcus & Sergio, Ltd. and the client.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including project photography, images, text, design, graphics, logos, and the overall selection and arrangement of content, is the property of Marcus & Sergio, Ltd. or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, copy, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or use any content from this site for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission. This prohibition includes, without limitation, use of any content, images, or data to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models. 3. The Collection — Products and Sales
We sell curated home goods, objects, candles, fragrance, furniture, and vintage and antique items through this website. All sales are subject to the following terms. All items in our Collection are sold as-is. We curate with care, and our descriptions aim to accurately reflect each item’s condition, age, and character. Vintage and antique items are all sales final. These items carry the marks of their history, including natural patina, minor imperfections, and variations that are inherent to their nature and are not considered defects. We welcome condition questions before purchase. Additional photographs of any item are available upon request — please contact us at info@cielohomepdx.com before placing your order.
For all other items, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original, unused condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not refund original shipping charges. Items damaged in return transit due to inadequate packaging may not be eligible for a full refund. We are not responsible for returned packages that are lost, misdirected, or delayed in transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method for all returns. A return is not considered received until it arrives at our location in its original condition.
We ship within the United States and offer local pickup and delivery in the Portland, Oregon area. Shipping timelines and rates will be presented at checkout. For furniture and larger items, lead times vary significantly by item, manufacturer, and carrier and may range from several weeks to several months. Any timelines we communicate are estimates only and are not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, freight carriers, customs, weather, or any circumstances outside our direct control. Once an item has been picked up by a carrier, the delivery relationship is between the purchaser and the carrier. Any claims for loss, damage, or delay in transit must be directed to the carrier. We will assist in facilitating claims where we are able, but we cannot be held responsible for carrier performance after an item has left our possession.
It is your responsibility to inspect all items upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, you must document the damage with photographs and notify us within 48 hours of receipt at info@cielohomepdx.com. This notification requirement exists because carrier claims processes require us to be informed promptly in order to file or support a claim on your behalf. We cannot facilitate a carrier claim for damage reported after this window. If a delivery driver will not permit inspection before signing, you must note this clearly above your signature at time of delivery.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders we believe to be fraudulent, duplicative, or placed by resellers. We are not obligated to provide a reason for cancellation. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method. We also reserve the right to cancel any order if an item becomes unavailable, is damaged prior to shipment, or cannot be fulfilled for any reason outside our control. In such cases, our sole obligation is to refund the amount paid. We are not liable for any consequential damages arising from order cancellation.
Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to accurately represent colors and materials, but cannot guarantee that your screen’s display will be fully accurate.
4. Product Safety and Liability
Marcus & Sergio, Ltd. is a retailer of curated goods. We are not the manufacturer of the new products we carry. For new, manufactured items purchased through this site, primary product liability rests with the manufacturer. If you believe a product is defective or caused harm due to a manufacturing defect, your claim should be directed to the manufacturer. We will provide manufacturer information upon request to assist with any such claim.
Marcus & Sergio, Ltd. shall not be liable for any injury, illness, property damage, or loss of any kind arising from the use, misuse, or possession of any item purchased through this site. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of all items. You agree to follow all manufacturer instructions, safety guidelines, and applicable laws in connection with any product purchased.
Candles and fragrance products carry inherent risks if used improperly. You agree to use all candles and fragrance items in accordance with manufacturer safety instructions, including but not limited to never leaving a burning candle unattended, keeping candles away from flammable materials, and keeping all fragrance products away from children. We are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from failure to follow proper safety practices. Vintage and antique items are sold as historical objects and may contain materials, finishes, construction methods, or substances that do not conform to current safety standards. We make no representations regarding the material composition or safety compliance of vintage or antique items. You purchase and use such items at your own risk, and we are not liable for any harm arising from their possession or use.
5. Accuracy of Information
We take care to keep information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content. You rely on information from this site at your own discretion.

This site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of any linked sites. Links do not constitute endorsement.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Marcus & Sergio, Ltd., its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, any content on it, or any products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim, whether arising from a product purchase or use of the website, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100) where no transaction is involved. You agree that any claim arising from your use of this site must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to the claim, after which it is permanently barred. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer for a transaction that is consistent with these Terms, you acknowledge that we reserve the right to contest the dispute and to pursue recovery of the full amount plus any fees incurred.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this website shall first be submitted to binding arbitration in Multnomah County, City of Portland, Oregon, before a mutually agreed arbitrator. Each party shall bear its own arbitration costs and fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. If arbitration does not resolve the matter, disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or confidential information without first submitting to arbitration.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. For minor changes, updates take effect upon posting to this page. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will endeavor to provide at least 30 days notice by posting a notice on the site or updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. User Conduct and Misuse
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access to this website for any user who engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing communications toward our staff or representatives, provides false or misleading information in connection with a purchase or inquiry, misrepresents the condition of a returned item, repeatedly initiates unwarranted disputes or chargebacks, or otherwise acts in bad faith in their dealings with us. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before taking any of these actions.
